Let’s talk Trader Joe’s favorites today!
I do my weekly grocery shopping at Trader Joe’s for many reasons including the small store vibe, a wide variety of unique offerings, and great pricing.
While much of what I buy can be bought in other stores (like produce), there are must-have items to grab only from Trader Joe’s.

This time, I wanted to pick five of my current Trader Joe’s Favorites and share them with you today.

Please note that the below favorites are in no particular order! It’s hard enough to narrow down a list of favorites let alone put them in order!
Organic Ginger Turmeric Tea
This winter has been all about caffeine-free tea for me. As I’ve mentioned in the past, I am sensitive to tea so I have to be careful with the types of teas I drink so that I don’t feel dizzy. Absolutely no green tea for me and even many caffeine-free teas can make me dizzy.
I fell in love with Trader Joe’s Organic Ginger Turmeric Tea a few months ago. It’s so delicious with a nice bite to it! I sip this tea every single day.
Three Layer Hummus
As someone who prefers fresh over packaged hummus, Trader Joe’s three-layer hummus is actually SO GOOD that it must be in our refrigerator at all times!
It must be the combination of traditional, cilantro jalapeno, and spicy hummus that does the trick for me. The flavor combination is just so good that I love adding this hummus to salads or whatever else I’m eating. This three-layer hummus has the perfect taste and texture, really adding that level of satisfaction to my meals and snacks.
Trader Joe’s Spices
Well, it’s not like you can’t get spices at other grocery stores. It’s just that the spices available at Trader Joe’s are that much better overall. Other companies have tried to replicate the Everything But The Bagel Sesame Seasoning but I don’t think they do as good as a job as Trader Joe’s.
I like how nicely my Trader Joe’s spices line up so pretty in the cabinet too. Oh, and the cocoa-cinnamon sugar is our favorite blend to use on warmed apple slices.
Organic Unsalted Peanut Butter
I mentioned this Organic Unsalted Peanut Butter a couple of months ago when I realized that Emily in Paris was obsessed with it too.
It just so happened that I bought the unsalted variety by accident in the fall and learned how good it actually is. I don’t even notice that it’s unsalted, it just tastes like really good peanut butter. I get both the organic unsalted creamy and organic unsalted crunchy peanut butter — they are both terrific types of peanut butter.
Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
Okay so I really tried not to add the semi-sweet chocolate chips to this post since I ALWAYS include them as a favorite but come on, I couldn’t leave them out!
Trader Joe’s semi-sweet chocolate chips are THE BEST chocolate chips on the market. If you ask me, these chocolate chips are so uniquely delicious that it’s impossible to eat another variety of chocolate chips without noticing the difference in taste.

Oh, and I once wrote about the Trader Joe’s Cauliflower Gnocchi in this post (with full Trader Joe’s shopping recap included too in the post). I started buying the cauliflower gnocchi again and really enjoy it. My son does too which means it’s good.
