Friday Favorites (Stoney Clover + Fashion + Beauty)

Lots of Friday Favorites to discuss today!

Friday Favorites

Stoney Clover

Okay first, Stoney Clover. The fuchsia launch last week has me viewing the site every day trying to decide which pouch I might need. The open top with the mirror is a style I do not have – yet. But the classic small is always so useful to have in my Stoney Clover collection.

I do like the keychain wallet even though I have one in another color — the bright pink is so pretty.

Also! Stoney Clover brought back the classic clear mirror open top now too! I’m debating between the bubblegum and the flamingo pink.

Shopbop has many items from Stoney Clover including the fuchsia collection too.

FASHION

I LOVE this bubble skirt.

Rhinestones on sandals are very me.

These sandals are so pretty for every day while still looking a little more dressed.

This star print denim jacket is on sale!

If you are still trying to get your hands on a lululemon belt bag, there seem to be plenty back in stock at the moment.

The Alo Yoga fanny pack is back in stock too.

Do I need another water bottle from lululemon? I like this color combo a lot. The amount of compliments I get on my lulu water bottle at the gym isn’t even normal at this point. People love mine so much and how it always matches my outfits. I like that these water bottles look nice but they also wash really well – considering I use it every day, they are really worth the investment.

BEAUTY

I’m on the hunt for the new lip balm from Lawless. It’s already sold out on Sephora’s site.

I did recently buy the Lawless Forget the Filler Overnight Lip Plumping Mask. I definitely like it and recommend it but I still really like the lip mask from Tatcha too. The Tatcha lip mask is a little thicker – which I like at night! I put the Lawless one on in the morning before leaving for the gym, so I do use it as more than an overnight lip mask. I like the cooling sensation it offers while also hydrating the lips. The Tatcha mask does not have a cooling sensation.

I’m considering the Makeup By Mario Plumping Lip Serum because I tried on the petal shade and it looked pretty. But still not sure — I like the Tarte gloss and I think it stays on longer. And It’s not like I need a new lip gloss right now!

However, I’m also considering these tinted lip balms from Tower 28 Beauty.

Have a great weekend!

Beauty Product Dupes From Target!

It’s no secret that I spend a lot of money (and time) on beauty products. I research ingredients, follow the latest product launches, and hang out at Sephora weekly as if it’s a routine grocery store run.

I have sensitive skin so I definitely do not like to rock the boat too often with too many new beauty products but over the last little while, I slowly switched a few things that saved me from spending unnecessary money.

Believe me, I’m all for investing in my skincare and makeup but sometimes, there are a few products that are just as good (and clean) as the higher-priced brands.

Below is a quick list of the beauty products I now get from Target that are “dupes” for more expensive skincare and makeup products. Not only are these Target beauty dupes cheaper, I always save at least 5% with my Target Redcard and even more when they run deals.

Also, all of these Target beauty product dupes are “clean” and receive top ratings from EWG.

Beauty Dupes From Target

Cerave Micellar Water instead of Drunk Elephant E-Rase Milki Micellar Water

$10.99 for 10 oz vs $28 for 8 oz

I was very nervous about switching from Drunk Elephant Micellar Water because it removes my makeup (including my eye makeup) without burning my skin or causing irritation. However, I gave Cerave a try after reading reviews and I’m so glad I did. Look at that price difference!

Cerave Hydrating Face Cleanser instead of First Aid Beauty Pure Skin Face Cleanser

$17.99 for 16 oz vs $24 for 5 oz.

I love this cleanser! It’s hydrating without feeling like it’s hydrating. Instead, your face just feels fresh and clean. I started with the mini travel size of Cerave, realized I loved it, and then bought the 8 oz bottle. Now, I buy the 16 oz bottle for $17.99. I kept the travel-size bottle so that I can fill it using my larger bottle for when I travel.

Alba Botanica Very Emollient Unscented Original Body Lotion instead of Necessaire – The Body Lotion

$14.99 for 32 oz vs $28 for 6.8 oz

I’ve mentioned this moisturizer in the past — the bottle is GIANT and I’m telling you, it’s as good as Necessaire. I use it after I get out of the shower every day and my skin is soft and hydrated. It also absorbs quickly and the pump is perfect for easy use. They make scented versions but I like to keep my skincare fragrance free.

E.L.F. Halo Glow Liquid Filter instead of Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter

$14 vs $46 — a no brainer

You already know about this dupe taking over tik tok and social media right? I’ve mentioned it before but it’s worth mentioning it again. Look at that price difference! There’s a reason it’s nearly impossible to find the E.L.F. Halo Glow Liquid Filter, it’s sold out because it’s that good.

You can the Halo Glow Filter alone, as a primer, mixed with foundation, or as a highlighter — it’s an amazing product that saves you money because it’s basically the same as the Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter.

Bonus:

I love Versed Baby Cheeks All in One Hydrating Milk. I can’t tell you the exact dupe that it is, but it’s a well-priced hydrating, gentle toner. I use it after I wash my face and sometimes before the gym if my skin needs some extra hydration. It’s also great for removing extra traces of makeup or for a quick refresh after a workout and before you shower. Baby Cheeks is also gentle around the eyes and causes no burning sensation to my skin.

Lululemon + GapFit Finds plus Sephora Sale!

Oh my goodness, I have so much to catch up with you on regarding recent purchases and Friday Favorites!

I don’t even know where to begin so let’s just jump right in, starting with workout apparel.

Sit down, this is a long post filled with great finds!

What I Bought From Lululemon

I ordered a few new things from lululemon and was very excited when they arrived on Wednesday!

lululemon-favorites

I bought another Sculpt Tank, in white. I love these tanks for running and for spin.

I have the Energy Long Line Bra in sonic pink but wanted another one so I bought it in black. It looks nice on its own or with something over it.

I have the Energy High Neck Longline Bra in white so this time I chose the Moonlit Magenta (which looks like a bright lavender). I wear this bra on its own (so nothing over it).

The Uplifting Bow Scrunchies were on sale so I bought a few colors.

And this Hold Tight long-sleeve top, which is not for workouts but for every day, is already my favorite and I haven’t worn it yet. It fits incredibly and is soft, stretchy, and just perfect.

[show_shopthepost_widget id=”4876327″]

What I Bought From The Gap

With cold weather approaching, I realized that I needed some tops that I could throw on over tank tops and sports bras either at the gym or to and from the gym under a jacket.

I’m still a huge fan of GapFit for certain items and after ordering a bunch of long sleeve tops at a really great price, I’m here to say that you need them too.

First, this is actually a GapFit Breathe Shrunken Short Sleeve T-Shirt, not a long sleeve. But the fit is PERFECT and so cute. You need it.

Here are the long sleeve tops that I ordered:

GapFit Breathe Boatneck Long Sleeve T-Shirt – I got two colors (black and hot pink)

GapFit Breathe Open Back Long Sleeve T-Shirt – bought the black, love it.

GapFit Brushed Jersey Hi-Low Sweatshirt – don’t hesitate on this one!

[show_shopthepost_widget id=”4876328″]

What I bought From Alo Yoga

From Alo Yoga, I ordered another pack of Glow Headbands and then this Rhythm scrunchie. I love the bow on the scrunchie!

Also, I want the Faux Fur Ear Warmer and the Faux Fur Tote Bag.

Sephora Sale!

The Sephora savings events happen twice a year and during both sales, I stock up on EVERYTHING.

I start with one Sephora order and then place one more, while also shopping in-store.

The below photo was round one.

sephora-sale

From Drunk Elephant:

C Firma Serum (best vitamin C serum)

F Balm Electrolyte Waterfacial (best hydration mask)

Bronzi Drops

Cocominos Shampoo and Conditioner

Peekee and Juju Bar – Travel Size

Also from the Sephora Sale:

I ordered the Charlotte Tilbury Glow Kit and Tatcha Kissu Lip Mask.

I’m loving the FaceGym Hydro-Bound Hyaluronic Acid + Niacimide Serum

I bought the refill for my new favorite moisturizer – Skinfix Triple Lipid Peptide Face Cream

Restocked Olaplex Shampoo and Conditioner

The Sephora Collection Retractable Brow Pencil receives great reviews so I’m trying it!

Still to Get From Sephora Sale

While rattling off the above list makes me feel like I’m a beauty product junkie, I’m still not done taking advantage of the sale. I’ll go through my bathroom counter and cabinets today to see what else I need or should stock up on in order to save money.

I will share the rest of what I grab next week (likely makeup) but if you get anything during the sale at Sephora, make it the Tarte Juicy Lip Plump!

Summer Fridays + This Week’s Favorites

I can’t believe summer is almost over (I think everyone says that) but I’m a little tired of humidity so maybe it’s okay.

I’m off from work today (I took a bunch of summer Fridays off) so I’m excited for a long weekend!

Summer Friday Favorites

I missed a recent meal post this week but the best thing I’m eating these days is my homemade pizza bagels. I’m a pizza bagel-making genius if you ask me.

I mean really, how delicious does my whole wheat pizza bagel look to you?!

pizza-bagel

Fashion Favorites

I ordered this Alo Yoga Motion Tank on sale.

Alo Yoga added new color options for the Emulate Bra. The Emulate Bra is my favorite sports bra for running.

From lululemon, I bought the Sculpt Tank in both sonic pink and neon yellow. I find it runs a little big in comparison to other lulu tops so I bought the size down and also tie a little knot at the front to make it shorter. I do love to wear it for running — definitely keeps you cool and drier.

I must get another pair of the Base Pace leggings — I’m telling you, they are so comfortable that you don’t even realize you have pants on which makes them worth the price. They are the best running leggings I’ve ever worn.

From Stoney Clover this week, they launched the Homecoming Collection. If you like chocolate brown and fall colors, check them out.

Beauty Favorites

I couldn’t wait to try the new eye cream from Drunk Elephant. Ceramighty AF Eye Cream with Ceramides is everything it claims to be so if you like a rich but not thick eye cream, this is it. It’s more hydrating than any other eye cream I’ve tried and trust me, I’ve tried them all.

I almost didn’t want to love it as much as I do but the moisturizing effects that it leaves on my undereye area are undeniable.

I’m sure you have seen the hype over the e.l.f. dupe for the Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter? Well, I finally got my hands on the e.l.f. Halo Glow Liquid Filter and wow, it really is a wonderful product and much cheaper than the Charlotte Tilbury version! YOU NEED IT. Check your local Target or order it online. It’s only $14 vs $44 for the Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter.

Another great beauty dupe, if you want my opinion, is the giant bottle of Alba Botanica Emollient Body Cream that I buy at Target. I’ve mentioned it before but it’s worth mentioning again. For barely $15, this bottle of moisturizer lasts so long and leaves my skin as moisturized as Necessaire or any of the more expensive clean body moisturizer products out there for double the price.

Catching Up On Friday Favorites!

It’s been a few weeks since my last round of Friday Favorites so let’s catch up on some recent favorites today!

I bought a few things at the Stoney Clover store in East Hampton a few weekends ago.

stoney-clover

Definitely get yourself a terry bucket hat. I had mine customized with a new style pearl letter M. I really need to take a picture wearing the bucket hat because the fit is SO CUTE.

I also grabbed a keychain wallet customized with a gingham glitter pearl letter M. It’s perfect for summer, travel, or anytime you want to carry less with you.

In other Friday Favorites news…

I started using this Alba Botanica Very Emollient Unscented Body Lotion and really love it! While I have so many other clean moisturizers that I like for the body, I noticed that I use so much at a time that spending top dollar on a body cream wasn’t the best idea IF I could find a cheaper option of high, clean quality. This giant bottle from Alba Botanica gets the job done, is clean in terms of ingredients, and is available at Target for barely fifteen dollars.

I also went back to the Drunk Elephant F Balm Electrolyte Waterfacial Hydration Mask and realized all over again how great it is for the skin. While I had switched things up to using Youth To The People’s Hydrate and Glow Dream Mask for a while, I do think Drunk Elephant’s mask gives better results.

This LOVE pouch isn’t a Stoney Clover pouch but looks similar and is a really cute cosmetics case.

I want this hair clip.

This strapless smocked linen dress is on sale at J. Crew.

This top, also from J. Crew is not on sale but I think I’m going to get it anyway.

I always come back to looking at this racerback flared active dress.

This dress, plus others from Melissa Odabash, is on sale right now.

I bought this GapFit Breathe Racerback Muscle Tank in neon green and I love it for running. I keep choosing it over my other running tops.

I also needed a new pair of the GapFit leggings I wear for running so I grabbed them on sale! I’m not one for compression pants so this style, in particular, is perfect — and always priced so reasonably.

Have a nice weekend!

Friday Favorites (Mostly Fashion + Some Makeup)

I don’t know how we got to Friday so quickly but I’m pretty excited about it! This week flew by with busy workdays but I wanted to pop in with a few favorites ahead of the weekend.

Friday Favorites

I spotted these flip flops with the cute pearl on the front yesterday and can’t stop thinking about them. Normally I go white with my sandals but the sky blue colorway is on my mind.

Also on my radar are these water-resistant flip-flops. So pretty.

I love a sun visor for running in the summer — look at this one from Alo Yoga. The colors are selling out fast.

I have a thing for swim cover-ups. I never have enough! This one looks very me.

Also very me, is this dress for spring/summer.

I’m not one for blazers. They are just not my style no matter what is trending or what was once considered traditional adult/work attire. Now, if I were to wear a blazer, I did see this one. This I could wear. Maybe. Probably not, but maybe. It’s pretty.

My second Sephora order arrived from the Spring Savings Event. I recommend again the Lawless Forget the Filler Lip Gloss!

While in the Sephora store last weekend, the nice girl who works there suggested I try the MILK Makeup Sunshine Under Eye Brightening Light Coverage Concealer and Sunshine Skin Tint Clean SPF 30 Foundation — and WOW, I love both products. The concealer can be worn alone just to even out some coloring but with the foundation, which is lightweight like a skin tint, you’ve got a full face without feeling like you are wearing anything. Plus the SPF – it’s perfect for every day, especially in summer.

Oh! I recently ordered two new pairs of pajamas from Splendid and right now, they are doing buy one pair get one free. I’m a little annoyed that I paid basically the full price for mine but if you order now, you will save money if you use code FREEBIE. Or maybe, I will order two more for the price of one!

And finally, do we discuss Stoney Clover launching the pretty rainbow gingham collection today? Or are we all Stoney Clovered out? I think it will be live online today at 10:00 AM EST – the rainbow gingham pearl letters are worth it.

Happy Passover and Easter!

Cold Stone Sundae! Plus Other Friday Favorites

Can I start today’s Friday Favorites post with ice cream? I feel like that’s a good place to start.

I don’t recall the last time I had a Cold Stone ice cream sundae in a chocolate-covered waffle bowl. All I know is that I needed one on Wednesday and it really hit the spot.

It was more about the chocolate-covered bowl than the ice cream for me, that’s for sure. I just wanted to break off pieces of the bowl and dip them in the ice cream.

Once the bowl ran out, I was done. I didn’t want any more of the ice cream.

I’m such a child.

Sephora Spring Savings Event

In other Friday’s Favorites news, my first Sephora Spring Savings order arrived a few days ago!

I typically place two orders during the 10-day sale period or order online for one round and shop in-store at Sephora for the other during the savings event.

Sephora order

Here’s what arrived in my first Sephora order:

Drunk Elephant Shampoo and Conditioner: I use this combo once a week and honestly think the bottles I bought last spring are the same bottles I’m still using today! They are getting close to empty so I figured now was a good time to restock and save 20%.

First Aid Beauty Pure Skin Face Cleanser: I always have this cleanser in my shower.

ILIA Cheek and Lip Tint: This product came highly recommended. It’s really easy to apply – which is a major plus.

ILIA Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40: I’ve used this skin tint in the past, right now I was just trying to find the right color for my skin at the moment. The one I ordered is not it so I will go to the store this weekend to exchange it for the right color.

Kosas Revealer Foundation: Absolutely LOVE this foundation. It’s everything they said it would be!

Drunk Elephant B-Hydra Serum: A staple in my routine, I ordered another bottle just to have for when my current serum runs out.

I placed another order yesterday for a few more of my routine skincare items and another Lawless Forget The Filler Lip Gloss.

There’s still time to shop the Sephora sale – see my top picks in this post!

Stoney Clover x Target

While some may be tired of hearing about this collaboration, many people are still searching Target stores for returns and back stock hitting the shelves.

I may be one of the people checking the Target website every few hours for returns – I refuse to confirm or deny this. 🙂

Stoney Clover target

The clothes in the Stoney Clover x Target collaboration (which are folded into the beach tote in the above photo) are really so good that if you can somehow get your hands on the terry outfits (sweatshirts with both shorts and pants!), you just must.

Right now, I see that the pink terry sweatshirt (with the cute little embroidered heart in the corner) is still available in a few sizes online. All of the terry items fit me really well and decently true to size, if not slightly on the larger side. I like my sweatpants and sweatshirts on the looser side so while I often wear one of two sizes in my clothes, I went with the larger size for these items. The detailing is to die for with heart beads on drawstrings and heart buttons!

Note: If you can still locate the ruffle skirt, that does seem to run big. Order a size down on that one!

[show_shopthepost_widget id=”4739621″]

I’ve been so caught up between Sephora and Stoney Clover that I haven’t really shopped anything else this week. Hopefully next week I will have some other spring favorites to share.

Have a nice weekend!

Sephora Spring Savings Event + Stoney Clover x Target Tomorrow!

Today is the start of the Sephora Spring Savings Event and tomorrow is the launch of Stoney Clover X Target?!

Way too much excitement for me at once!

The Sephora Spring Savings sale (use code SAVESPRING) is always a great time for me to stock up on my daily skincare products. I have my list ready for this morning and I’ll be adding a few makeup items too.

I’ll share what I buy in another post but for now, I’ve rounded up my top skincare and makeup picks to shop during this spring’s Sephora Spring Savings Event!

Sephora spring savings

Skincare:

I’ve gone in-depth on skincare so frequently that I don’t want to overload this post with my recommendations.

It’s always a good idea to choose anything from Biossance or Drunk Elephant. I currently use or have previously used almost every product from Drunk Elephant’s skincare line.

See my Drunk Elephant skincare routine in this post along with the best clean skincare products in this post.

Also…

Sunscreen for everyday under makeup: Biossance SPF 30.  Seriously, this sunscreen is now my favorite when looking for an everyday SPF 30. While I wouldn’t use it for the beach (I need SPF 50), this sunscreen from Biossance is so hydrating and moisturizing, that you can’t believe it’s sunscreen. While I wear it over moisturizer, you can wear it as a moisturizer. I guess it depends upon your skin type.

Makeup Remover:  Drunk Elephant Micellar Water. It literally removes your makeup in one try and does not irritate my eyes at all. I’m super sensitive so even the most “gentle” of removers will burn – not this one!

Gentle Face Cleanser: First Aid Beauty Pure Skin Face Cleanser

Bar Soap/Exfoliating Bar: Drunk Elephant Baby Bar Travel Duo with Case

Hydration Mask: I fell in love this winter with Youth To The People Hydrate & Glow Superberry Mask  I highly recommend it!

Best At-Home Facial Mask: Drunk Elephant Sukari Babyfacial AHA + BHA Mask

Lip Masks: I talk about lip masks often but really, once you try one, you can’t NOT use a lip mask every night. The Kissu Lip Mask is life-changing for your lips. Also worth trying is Ilia Lip Wrap.I really see results from both lip mask products.

Body Lotion: Go with either Necessaire Body Lotion or Biossance Toning Body Cream.

[show_shopthepost_widget id=”4730521″]

Makeup:

As I’ve mentioned in the past, I wear a lot of makeup from Glossier but I do still shop for makeup at Sephora so here are my recommendations!

Foundations:

The Ilia True Skin Serum Foundation is a nice, clean foundation that won’t irritate your skin but goes on nicely with medium coverage.

If you want a clean foundation with light/medium coverage and an SPF, try the cult-favorite Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40.

Also, consider trying the new foundation with SPF 25 from Kosas.I know I’m buying it during the sale!

[show_shopthepost_widget id=”4730523″]

My favorite Makeup Primer: Tatcha Silk Canvas

Favorite Concealer: Kosas Revealer Concealer

Excellent Setting Powder: Tatcha The Silk Powder Protective Setting Powder

Toning Mist: Biossance Toning Mist is great for hydration, setting makeup, and using jt with your beauty blender.

[show_shopthepost_widget id=”4730524″]

Best Powder Blush: Charlotte Tilbury Cheek to Chic Blush

Bronzer/Highlighter Duo: Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow

Also, I want this Ilia Multi-Stick Cheek and Lip

Favorite Eye Shadow:  Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Eyeshadow Palette. While it’s not a “clean” makeup product, I do wear it when I really want to do my eyes up. The colors are so pretty and look so nice. The pigment goes on and stays on so well.

Favorite Eye Liner: Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Eye Liner

Favorite Lash Primer: Milk Lash Primer

Really Nice Eyebrow Pencil: Kosas Brow Pop

Lip Liner: Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Liner

Need Lip Gloss? Try a Kosa Wet Lip Oil Gloss. I also love the Forget the Filler Lip Plumper Line Smoothing Gloss from Lawless.

Oh, and this Balmy Tint Hydrating Lip Balm from Ilia is on my list.

[show_shopthepost_widget id=”4730525″]

Hair:

Shampoo: If you still aren’t ready to trust me that Olaplex is THE BEST, try out the mini-size shampoo and conditioner as a start.

Also, try Briogeo Don’t Detox & Repair Set before buying the full sizes – I think you will love the Briogeo products but the mini sets give you a chance to try before spending full price.

I rotate Olaplex and Briogeo with Drunk Elephant Shampoo and Conditioner.

Hair Products:

I mentioned a few months ago that I love the DryBar Buttercup Blow Dryer and also use the Half Pint Round Brush when blowing out my hair and the Hold Me Hair Clips.

Stoney Clover X Target

As far as Stoney Clover’s collaboration with Target which launches in-store and online tomorrow, I don’t even have words for this situation. I am pretty sure the collection will sell out online before I even wake up but I do plan to check everything that I’ve already “hearted” in my Target account to see what I can order. And then, I will go to the Target stores in my area first thing in the morning.

[show_shopthepost_widget id=”4734584″]

Stoney Clover at Target?! Plus Other Friday Favorites

I don’t even want to discuss the Stoney Clover X Target collaboration because the more people who know, the faster this INSANE COLLECTION is going to sell out.

Like O-M-G.

In stores and online at Target on April 2, you can get Stoney Clover pouches, patches, totes, duffels, CLOTHES, shoes, SUITCASES, pool floats, towels, pet accessories, beauty products, and more.

stoney clover lane target

stoney clover target

The Stoney Clover X Target collection is already viewable online so I’ve already started to heart the items I want to get. Honestly, I want almost everything! How could I not at these price points?!

In all likelihood, the collection will sell out online before I’m even awake on April 2 so I will likely just head to the Targets in my area to see what’s still in stock in stores!

Other Friday Favorites

Love this tie-dye swim cover up.

The color and style of these bubble jelly slides caught my attention although I mostly wear white sandals at every opportunity.

These pink lucite sandals look fun.

I love these shorts every time I see them but the price seems high for what they are. Yet, I always come back to them.

Every brand has a tennis skirt this year. I also like this version from Beyond Yoga.

If only I didn’t wear prescription sunglasses, these heart shades would be an immediate purchase.

I’ve been using this Biossance Squalane + Zinc Sheer Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30 under my makeup on a daily basis for a month or so now and LOVE IT. It’s so hydrating and creamy, it feels like a moisturizer but it’s sunscreen.

I am trying to get my hands on the Ilia Multi-Stick Cheek & Lip but the one shade I want is always sold out.

I’ve been using the Ilia Lip Wrap Overnight Lip Mask instead of the Tatcha Kissu Mask just because I wanted to try it. I prefer the lip mask from Tatcha but the Lip Wrap from Ilia is still a good choice. I think it comes down to personal opinion and preference. I like the thickness of the Tatcha lip mask but Ilia still gets the job done.

Also, I highly recommend this Hydrate and Glow Mask from Youth to the People. I know I’ve mentioned it before but I’m mentioning it again because it’s really that good.

Stoney Clover Favorites: The Stoney Clover Pouches (and Tote) I Used To Travel

I’m very excited to share the Stoney Clover products that I used for my quick trip to Florida!

Stoney Clover is a total obsession, I know that very well, but it’s a good one. There’s nothing better than being organized and enjoying how you organize your things!

Let’s jump right into the Stoney Clover products that I used to travel.

Mini Pouch

Okay, up first is my mini plane pouch in periwinkle. The mini pouch is good for holding all of your chargers, AirPods, and anything else you may need to easily reach when traveling.

I had this mini pouch designed specifically for travel right before the pandemic and never had the opportunity to use it until now.

Plane patch on the front.

Stoney Clover plane pouch

The city patch on the back.

Stoney Clover plane patch

I shared this photo from landing last week — it’s exactly why my travel pouch has the city on back as the symbol for coming back home. 🙂

New York City

Stoney Clover Terry Tote

I’m SO GLAD that I bought this pink Stoney Clover terry tote last summer for the beach, pool, and anytime summer use.

Stoney Clover Terry tote

This terry tote is not available right now but I am sure they will bring back a version of it this summer. It’s the perfect mix of style and functionality.

While I didn’t add a patch yet to the tote, there’s still time to do that. I just haven’t made any decisions yet on what to put on the front.

It’s SO BIG yet doesn’t feel so big, can go in the wash, and the inside is a nice wipeable material. Oh, and packing it is easy because it can lay flat in a suitcase or fold – however you want to do it.

Stoney Clover

Stoney Clover Travel Pouch

I have a few clear Stoney Clover travel pouches but chose to use my travel pouch with the SUN flamingo shell letters for this trip.

And I used this pouch so much while away! It’s normally reserved for the beach or pool but I ended up throwing my wallet inside and carrying it around with me quite often in place of a purse.

oatmeal

Stoney Clover Small Pouches

I designated this sky blue small pouch as my makeup pouch when I travel.

I’m such a pink person but the sky blue from Stoney Clover is so striking to me.

Stoney Clover small pouch

The small pouch really holds so much. Usually, I keep my makeup brushes separate but this time I packed it all together and had no problem with fitting everything inside the small pouch.

Stoney Clover small

My first ever Stoney Clover small pouch is still my pouch designated for skincare. I like that the material is completely wipeable so I’m not thinking about spilling any liquids.

Stoney Clover small pouch

Stoney Clover small pouch

In my tote for the plane was another small pouch that had snacks and random things and oh, wearing the fanny pack for the airport and plane was absolutely perfect. It made life so much easier when I needed to grab my license, quickly pull my phone in and out, and easily reach my lip balm.

I would now never fly without wearing a fanny pack. It really made that much of a difference for me.

Stoney Clover

In total, I used:

  • 3 small pouches
  • 1 travel pouch
  • 1 mini pouch
  • fanny pack
  • (terry tote)

Stoney Clover pouches

One thing I didn’t use, which is perfect for travel, is the classic tote.  Believe it or not, I still don’t have one! In the process of trying to design a tote a couple of years ago, I ended up with this Longchamp La Pliage tote which I now use for travel instead. I can’t imagine that I won’t get a tote at some point (maybe the mini tote version?) but for now, I feel like what I used for my trip to Florida was good and really functional.

[show_shopthepost_widget id=”4719431″]

I will admit that it sometimes bothers me when I don’t use all matching pouches. While I do have a few Stoney Clover items in the sky colorway and have the sparkling champagne duffle to match the above MERI pouch (and a mini to match too), I never made what I could call a “complete set”.  Maybe one day I will pick a large pouch in sparkling champagne or choose more sky pouches and a tote and make myself “the set” I envision. To be honest though, even with a matchy-matchy set, I would still use other pouches from my collection because they match something else that I’m using.

Oh, the struggles.

If anyone has any questions about which Stoney Products to get or how to design them, please feel free to ask! I’m always happy to discuss and assist.
