Beauty Product Dupes From Target!

It’s no secret that I spend a lot of money (and time) on beauty products. I research ingredients, follow the latest product launches, and hang out at Sephora weekly as if it’s a routine grocery store run.

I have sensitive skin so I definitely do not like to rock the boat too often with too many new beauty products but over the last little while, I slowly switched a few things that saved me from spending unnecessary money.

Believe me, I’m all for investing in my skincare and makeup but sometimes, there are a few products that are just as good (and clean) as the higher-priced brands.

Below is a quick list of the beauty products I now get from Target that are “dupes” for more expensive skincare and makeup products. Not only are these Target beauty dupes cheaper, I always save at least 5% with my Target Redcard and even more when they run deals.

Also, all of these Target beauty product dupes are “clean” and receive top ratings from EWG.

Beauty Dupes From Target

Cerave Micellar Water instead of Drunk Elephant E-Rase Milki Micellar Water

$10.99 for 10 oz vs $28 for 8 oz

I was very nervous about switching from Drunk Elephant Micellar Water because it removes my makeup (including my eye makeup) without burning my skin or causing irritation. However, I gave Cerave a try after reading reviews and I’m so glad I did. Look at that price difference!

Cerave Hydrating Face Cleanser instead of First Aid Beauty Pure Skin Face Cleanser

$17.99 for 16 oz vs $24 for 5 oz.

I love this cleanser! It’s hydrating without feeling like it’s hydrating. Instead, your face just feels fresh and clean. I started with the mini travel size of Cerave, realized I loved it, and then bought the 8 oz bottle. Now, I buy the 16 oz bottle for $17.99. I kept the travel-size bottle so that I can fill it using my larger bottle for when I travel.

Alba Botanica Very Emollient Unscented Original Body Lotion instead of Necessaire – The Body Lotion

$14.99 for 32 oz vs $28 for 6.8 oz

I’ve mentioned this moisturizer in the past — the bottle is GIANT and I’m telling you, it’s as good as Necessaire. I use it after I get out of the shower every day and my skin is soft and hydrated. It also absorbs quickly and the pump is perfect for easy use. They make scented versions but I like to keep my skincare fragrance free.

E.L.F. Halo Glow Liquid Filter instead of Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter

$14 vs $46 — a no brainer

You already know about this dupe taking over tik tok and social media right? I’ve mentioned it before but it’s worth mentioning it again. Look at that price difference! There’s a reason it’s nearly impossible to find the E.L.F. Halo Glow Liquid Filter, it’s sold out because it’s that good.

You can the Halo Glow Filter alone, as a primer, mixed with foundation, or as a highlighter — it’s an amazing product that saves you money because it’s basically the same as the Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter.

Bonus:

I love Versed Baby Cheeks All in One Hydrating Milk. I can’t tell you the exact dupe that it is, but it’s a well-priced hydrating, gentle toner. I use it after I wash my face and sometimes before the gym if my skin needs some extra hydration. It’s also great for removing extra traces of makeup or for a quick refresh after a workout and before you shower. Baby Cheeks is also gentle around the eyes and causes no burning sensation to my skin.

$17.99 for 4 oz

Versed Skincare Review Including What I Use Regularly

I finally tried a few products from the Versed skincare line which is available at Target!  Before getting to the Versed products I tried, I have a few other favorites to report.

Recently I reported a couple of beauty faves from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale. I ended up with the MAC Up Close and Personal Lip Set and LOVE IT.

MAC Up Close Personal Lip Set

I’ve been wearing this MAC lip set literally every single day which is a big deal for me. I’m usually the type to put on all of my makeup and then skip my lip. Or, only apply the lipstick or gloss once and never reapply. Not with this set. My favorite part is not only the color and how well the nude goes with my complexion but how it feels on my lips. MAC is one of my favorites for lipstick and gloss because it’s so hydrating and smooth. It never dries out my lips and NEVER feels sticky. It stays on for a long time and when it wears off, I  reapply because I like how it feels.

Anyone else gets excited about scrunchies? Well, I was really excited when I saw this pack of scrunchies from Target. Totally bought the 3-pack solely for the tie-dye bow scrunchie. It’s as cute as it looks.

Versed Skincare

Ok, so I FINALLY got my hands on some of the products from Versed Skincare.

In case you haven’t heard about Versed skincare yet, it’s a fairly new line of CLEAN SKINCARE products that are priced really well and the packaging is not only pretty but made from mostly recyclable materials when possible.

I have tried a bunch of the Versed skincare products and so far, I am extremely pleased with the results! Nothing negative for me to report at all at this point. All of the products are living up to the hype and are non-irritating (for me thus far) which is a huge plus. I love that it’s possible to get quality skincare at such affordable prices.

Here’s what I have and now use on a regular basis:

Versed Wash It Out Gel Cleanser- I wanted a new cleanser to rotate with my First Aid Beauty Cleanser so I grabbed Wash It Out Gel Cleanser. It’s priced well ($12.99!) and takes off all of my makeup. I like how it feels on my skin when washing and my face feels really clean after using it which is what I look for in a cleanser. It’s a gel cleanser but does lather a bit — I didn’t want another cream cleanser so this is perfect right now.

Versed Look Alive Hydrating Plumping Face Mask-  The masks definitely got my attention. I couldn’t wait to try this hydrating mask and love the results each time I use it. Absolutely no tingling or irritation and my skin feels so soft and smooth! I can see the results the next morning too when I put on my makeup.

This cooling, soothing gel mask is infused with aloe leaf juice, which delivers that instant refreshing burst of hydration. But the real hero here is the plant-based collagen alternative that smooths texture, increases elasticity, and binds moisture to the skin to prevent moisture loss. Rosehip seed oil also helps smooth skin to diminish the appearance of wrinkles.

Versed Photos Please Brightening Tightening Face Mask-  This has become my favorite mask and maybe my favorite Versed product. I’m able to use it a few times a week – not a tingle of irritation during the application or after washing the mask off. My skin feels so smooth and looks very even-toned and bright after using it. I normally use this mask at night but do still see the results the next day.

Mineral-rich red kaolin clay tones and gently exfoliates the skin while antioxidant-rich turmeric brightens and evens skin tone. It’s not only a soothing experience (thanks to the creamiest clay you’ve ever felt) but also a satisfying one. In 10 to 15 minutes, you’ll see and feel noticeably brighter, tighter, smoother, softer skin.

I also really like the Versed Shortcut Overnight Facial Peel.

I’m able to use both the peel and the Brightening Tightening face mask within the same week without any irritation. This peel always leaves my skin so bright and even looking in the next morning. I really like using this peel on those nights when I’m extra tired and don’t feel like going through my usual serum/moisturizer process. This peel is like a moisturizer too, so it can be used in place of the other products as it does its job overnight (I do still add my eye cream though).

The Versed The Fix Emergency Eye Mask is a favorite of mine now too. While I do not use it daily,  you totally can.. I save it for those days/nights when I am going somewhere special and want to ensure that my eyes are as depuffed as possible. I use it after my shower and before I apply my skincare, giving it about 10 minutes of time on my eyes before washing it off and adding moisturizers and then makeup. I also use it if I didn’t sleep a lot the night before and notice that my eyes need extra attention. Great purchase to make if you are looking for a stand by eye product!

It is important to note that I am still really happy with my Drunk Elephant skincare products.

What I’m doing now is adding in the Versed Skincare too, but not giving up on the Drunk Elephant serums and moisturizer that I love so much. They work so well and are still reasonably priced so I am finding myself working the Versed skincare into my routine with the Drunk Elephant serums and moisturizer that I use daily.
