With my Dior Skincare & Beauty 101 event coming up on May 19, of course, I threw in some of my favorite MUST-HAVE Dior products along with a mix of other makeup and skincare that I find worth discussing. It’s not an overwhelming list so if you have any questions about other makeup and skincare products you were thinking about, I am more than happy to discuss and help you to make your decisions. I do spend a lot of my time researching beauty products in order to understand their ingredients/what their hype is about/if they receive good reviews and why, so I do believe I am slightly educated in this area. 🙂
Dior Flash Luminizer Radiance Booster Pan –I’ve mentioned the Dior Flash Lumizer Radiance Booster Pen many times. If you don’t already use this product, it’s time to get it! It’s a top 3 must-have makeup product for me! I use it every day as a concealer/brightener. As soon as the pen runs out, I go to the store for another one. It’s not optional!

Dior DiorSkin Nude Air Luminizer Powder- Love the glow this powder gives to the skin! Just a little bit adds a nice highlight that catches the light perfectly without looking overdone.

La Mer The Cleansing Foam –Okay. So. I have yet to try this La Mer Cleansing Foam BUT it’s on my must-try list! La Mer never sells anything at a reasonable price — until they came out with this small tube of their Cleansing Foam. For $25 (less the discount), I think it’s worth trying from La Mer. I’ve read amazing reviews about it.
NARS NARSisste Wanted Eyeshadow Palette – Rather than throw more Dior at you, I figured I would pull another favorite of mine. While yes, Dior makes the greatest eye shadows, I’ve always had a soft spot in my heart for NARS! I like an eye shadow palette to work with and this NARS NARSisste offers a nice range of colors.
Peter Thomas Roth Water Drench Cloud Cream Cleanser –This Water Drench Cloud Cream Cleanser receives super positive reviews so I had to include it in this list for you to grab! At a decent price point for a quality cleanser, it’s “a gentle, frothy, non-stripping, whipped cleanser and makeup remover.”
NARS Blush in Orgasm- If you want an all-time classic blush of high quality and a great color for anyone, NARS blush in Orgasm is it. I first bought this blush in the early 2000s and still love it today.
Dior Addict Lip Glow – I’ve written about the Dior Addict Lip Glow several times over the years! It’s 2018 Sephora top pick for Spring Bonus too! I love the Lip Glow because it provides hydration like a lip balm while coming in various colors that are light yet bring out the natural pigment in your lips at the same time. The Lip Glow always makes a cute little gift when you don’t know what to buy someone but want to buy something small yet useful. I love the new shades and definitely recommend this halo pink.
Drunk Elephant Lala Retro Whipped Cream- This moisturizer from Drunk Elephant throws me a bit. Here’s the thing: Drunk Elephant has a cult following in the beauty world. Their products are highly rated and people are obsessed! Drunk Elephant is praised for their incredible packaging (locking in the potency of the ingredients) and a clean list of ingredients BUT I’m not overly sold on the hype. Yes, I did use this Lala Retro Whipped Cream moisturizer for the last month or so and just finished the container. It was fine but I didn’t feel or see anything to rave about as I do with other products. I am including the Lala Retro Whipped Cream here on my list because it is rated so high and does contain a quality set of clean, moisturizing ingredients at a decent price point in skincare terms. Please let me know what you think of it! Everyone else raves about it and loves it. Again, it’s not that I didn’t like it, I just didn’t totally understand the over the moon hype.
I also tried the Drunk Elephant Polypeptide Cream. I liked the Lala Retro Whipped Cream better but I think that’s because I like a thicker moisturizer. People love this product! I guess it depends upon your skin type.
DreamSkin Perfect Skin Cushion SPF 50- This might be at the top of my MUST-HAVE Dior products list. It’s hard for me to pick just one Dior product to recommend but honestly, I am obsessed with the benefits of the DreamSkin Perfect Skin Cushion! I could go on and on about it and insist you start using it too. Not only is it giving you an SPF 50 for your face, it hydrates, evens out your skin tone and contains treatments for fine lines, wrinkles, etc. It’s perfect for summer when at the beach or on vacation and great for everyday wear too. I don’t always add extra foundation over it but you certainly can if you want a little more coverage. LOVE IT. In fact, on the days I don’t wear it, I notice that my skin isn’t as soft and hydrated.
