THE BEST Running Accessories Gifts For Runners

If you are looking for the best holiday gift for runners, you have come to the right place.

Running accessories.

Running accessories make the best gifts.

Sure, running apparel would be great too but that gets tricky. Not only is it hard to determine the right size and fit to give as a gift, but it’s also hard to know the specific brands, styles, and pieces each individual runner prefers. We are picky people.

If you want to give the best holiday gift for runners and want it to be a welcomed surprise present, go with running accessories.

You don’t even need to know exactly which running hat, running gloves, or other running items they already have in order to successfully give a running accessories gift. If you ask me, even if I already have a running hat and pair of running mittens, receiving new running accessories is always a wonderfully appreciated present.

And it gets better.

Design a Stoney Clover pouch to hold the running accessories to really step up the gift game in both presentation and functionality. Genius, I know.

And I’ve made this running gift idea even easier. Design the Stoney Clover pouch BUT do it with a clear pouch so that you not only save on the custom sewing fee but save on the delivery time window. You can order the clear travel pouch or classic clear small pouch and then select the letter/icon patches, which are sold separately, to then apply yourself. While the nylon pouches definitely require custom sewing for the patches, I find that the Stoney Clover patches adhere just fine to the clear, vinyl pouches. You can also gift the pouch with the patches separately and let the person decide how/where they want to apply the patches.

I designed some Stoney Clover pouch ideas as inspiration. There are so many options and combinations to create!

All of these pouches have a clear front (the travel pouch has a clear back too) so you can stick the patches on yourself.

Best Running Accessories For Holiday Gifts

As for the best running accessories, I’m going all lululemon on this one. And here’s why: From my personal runner experience, the lululemon accessories that I bought as early as 2013, are still the running accessories I use today. You just can’t beat the style, functionality, and durability of the lululemon running accessories.

Here are my top picks:

Running gloves are a necessity for cold weather climates. While I prefer mittens like these Down For It All Mittens, I also like these Run For It All Hooded Gloves since they have the added option to cover up the gloved fingers with a mitten layer.

A hat like this Run For It All Beanie is key. It has a slot for a ponytail and washes really well. And for days that aren’t as cold but are still chilly, an ear warmer like this Run For It All Ear Warmer is critical. I also find that it blocks out the wind from bothering me.

Don’t forget about the Run For It All Neckwarmer. This is so important as a running accessory in the winter. It pulls up the neck and over the mouth if needed.

Hair accessories make great gifts too, no matter the climate. I like the Uplifting Scrunchie, Fringe Fighter Headband, Glow Un Hair Ties Pack, and the Uplifting Scrunchie Bow in Velvet.

EXTRA: The Everywhere Belt Bag makes a great gift. You can’t beat the price for what you get. And so many colors to choose from!
