This summer has been the summer in which I became obsessed with my Stoney Clover fanny pack. I’ve never been a fanny pack person but the high-quality design options from Stoney Clover have converted my opinion to loving the hands-free bag style.
I recently mentioned my Stoney Clover fanny pack but wanted to show you how I wear it AND what fits inside it.
There’s the classic way of wearing a fanny pack at your waist.
And the trendy crossbody option, which is probably my favorite. It really depends upon what I’m wearing although either option looks nice and is super comfortable.
The strap is adjustable and fits better than any other fanny pack I’ve ever tried since it allows me to make it small enough to fit at the waist when I wear it in that fashion and then big enough to easily adjust for a crossbody.
A Fanny Pack is perfect for:
- Food Shopping
- Errands
- Going to the mall
- Travel
- Walking the city
- Vacation
- Disney World (!!)
- Sporting Events
- Basically, going anywhere.
When a fanny pack is this classy and stylish, I think you can use it for anything, to go anywhere. If we were living in a normal world, I would absolutely be using my fanny pack for work events in which I need to be hands-free. One day, when conferences happen again in person, you can bet I will use a fanny pack without thinking twice. It’s fashionable and appropriate when it looks this nice for sure.
The design options are endless which adds to the excitement of the Stoney Clover fanny pack. Not only is it a high-quality accessory and super classy looking, but you can also customize the color and patches to meet your personality and needs. I’ve shared some design options below in the past but truly, there are a bazillion ways to customize your fanny pack! I’m actually considering a black fanny pack next to use this winter.
So here’s what fits in my Stoney Clover fanny pack which I’ve customized with my favorite Love Shack Fancy X Stoney Clover Lane Laguna Blue String Pearl Letter:
- Wallet
- Keys
- Phone
- Face Mask
- Glasses
- Mini Sanitizer
- Lipsticks and Tampons in a small makeup case
A lot fits inside, right?! This is the maximum of what I would put in my fanny pack. Sometimes I leave the house with just my wallet, face mask, hand sanitizer, phone, and keys inside. Other times I know I will need my glasses or know that I want to swap the sunglasses always on my face for my regular glasses. Also, my small makeup case. Obviously I don’t need to wear lipstick right now since I’m wearing a mask when I leave the house, but it does fit in the fanny pack. I also put tampons in the makeup case so sometimes those are needed with me too. If I wanted to fit, even more, I have a mini wallet I could use in place of my main wallet to free up space.

I have not used my Stoney Clover fanny pack for running. Can you? Of course, you can! But I have one that I designate for workouts. I don’t want to get my Stoney Clover fanny pack dirty or sweaty, although it is easy to clean. If I wanted to use a Stoney Clover fanny pack for workouts, I would design one specifically for that purpose.
