It’s Wednesday! In case you didn’t realize. I know the days are getting a bit repetitive but hopefully, things will get back to normal (or a new normal, just a normal that allows me to get my hair and nails done, ok?) real soon.
Anyway.
I’ve only had one pizza bagel in the last little while. I don’t know why but as good as it looks, I wasn’t thrilled.
Maybe it was because I ate a pizza bagel during Passover when I probably should have used the matzoh to make matzoh pizza. Oops. At least I’m honest.
I’m still living on salads. In this salad were roasted potatoes, chickpeas, avocado, broccoli, lettuce, tomato, and honey mustard dressing.
And this salad was extremely similar to the previous salad yet different because it didn’t contain broccoli, used a different lettuce blend and had roasted sweet potatoes and guacamole.
Unpacking my groceries while sanitizing them while also eating them is next level impressive when it comes to multitasking. There’s much debate over the need to wipe down groceries (although there’s debate over everything right now) but we won’t get into that. I do the best I can without being too nutty about it.
Is there anything prettier than a big container of chocolate chips? Gotta have my chocolate chips in the house. I would be lost without my snack.
What to do with Bananas
I have a heck of a lot of bananas in the house which isn’t typical for us but my son has been eating more of them as of late which meant I had to stock up because stock up is the new way of life. However, there’s always that fear in my mind that he’s up against the clock to eat all of the bananas before they turn too ripe.
I’m not the same healthy living blogger that I used to be, the one who would use or freeze the overripe bananas in order to make smoothies! And bake recipes! But I do have the recipes from my past here on the blog. So, I quickly dug around my posts and found some really delicious banana recipes to share with you.
Peanut Butter and Banana Protein Bites –This recipe continues to be a top search result for my blog every day ever since sharing it. Some days it gets many more views than others. I’ve decided it’s a Pinterest thing based upon what people are searching and pinning at the moment.
Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies –I totally forgot about these cookies! Such a good recipe!
Banana Bread Mini Muffins –I haven’t baked a muffin of any kind in so long.
Must Make Smoothies – I’ve never been much of a smoothie drinker but I did create this round-up of smoothies recipes way back when.
WIAW blast from the past plus Banana Ice Cream – UM, I TOTALLY FORGOT THAT I USED TO MAKE BANANA ICE CREAM. Why have I not seen anyone else still making ice cream out of blended frozen bananas?! This is likely what I will do with our bananas once they get too ripe. It’s easy enough to freeze the overripe bananas and then blend to make ice cream. Seriously, I cannot believe I forgot about this!
