Shana Tova to my Jewish friends! Happy New Year — I hope you are having a nice holiday.

Last Week’s Workouts

It was another great week of workouts with so much variety! I had a nice mix of miles, barre classes, pilates, spin, barefoot sculpt, and an outdoor walk in there too.

Monday – 20 Min Run + Barre

Ideally, I would have run three miles but I only had 20 minutes before the barre class started so I did what I could. I even paid attention to where my distance was at the 20-minute mark – 2.27 miles. I started with my easy run on the treadmill workout as the warm-up mile and then went into some quick intervals before my time was up.

Tuesday – 5 Miles (treadmill)

I was a little tired but still put in a good, consistent effort using my easy run on the treadmill workout as a one-mile warm-up, finishing 5 miles right over the 45-minute mark with an incline ranging between 1 -2.

Wednesday – Pilates

Thursday – 20 Min Run + Barre

Would you believe my distance when I hit the 20-minute mark of my quick run was the same as Monday?! 2.27 miles. The first mile is identical because I do the same warm-up but the next 10 and a half minutes are not the same as I don’t follow any sort of pattern — yet clearly, I fall within the same range without even realizing it.

My plan now is to run these quick 20 minutes before a class and see if I can cover more distance each time.

Friday – Outdoor Walk + 15 Min Melissa Wood Health Yoga Flow

Saturday – 3 Miles (treadmill) + Spin

This seems to be my Saturday combo – – run a few miles on the treadmill before jumping into a spin class.

Sunday – Barefoot Sculpt
