Lululemon Finds + Weekly Workout Recap

Oh, hi.

How do we feel about the time change? It will take me a few days to get used to it but overall, I’m happier because we are closer to spring and summer!

Before I get to a few Lululemon finds of interest, just a quick chat about my thoughts on running once last week.

I didn’t go into this week thinking I would only run once but that’s what happened.

The internal battle I still have sometimes though is very real.

It’s like this:

In my head, I’m a runner first BUT I just don’t seem to choose running over other workout options as I once did in the past.

Lately, a yoga or pilates flow wins out. As does a nice walk. There was a time when it wouldn’t even be up for discussion. I chose to run more days than I didn’t.

The way I am now with my workouts still seems WEIRD to me even though I’ve been running less like this for four years.

I just remind myself to go with how I’m feeling, even if I think I should choose to run. I’m always happy with the decision I’ve made, which means I am doing the right thing — even if running wasn’t it.

Like I’ve said so many times before – these weeks happen. Some weeks I run more, some weeks I run less.

Lululemon Finds

Here are some items from lululemon that are currently catching my eye!

I’m grabbing this court rival skirt in white before it’s sold out for the season. I also like this quick-drying sleeveless polo shirt to go with the skirt.

I feel like I need the scuba oversized half-zip hoodie. I saw it in the store but they didn’t have pink. I like pink!

Speaking of pink, maybe I need this bright pink water bottle for summer.

I don’t know that I need a new running visor for summer, but maybe I do. The one I have from lululemon is oh, eight years old or so now but I think it’s still in good condition.

I haven’t worn lululemon socks in a really long time but I got really excited when I saw the neon colors while in the store over the weekend.

The ear warmer is on sale – get it now to put away for next winter.

I love the blue uplifting bow scrunchie.

Last Week’s Workouts

Monday – 4 Mile Run

Tuesday – 3.1 Mile Walk

I didn’t plan to walk a 5K but noticed the distance on my phone once I got home. I was outside for about an hour.

Wednesday – Melissa Wood Health Combo

It was snowing this morning – please take me back to Florida weather!

  • 23 Min Yoga-Focused Flow
  • 18 Min Pilates (1 lb weights)

Thursday – 3.1 Mile Walk

I truly don’t know how I hit 3.1 miles during this walk so perfectly as I did on Tuesday! Once again, I only noticed when I looked at my phone after I was home to loosely see my distance.

Just over here waiting for spring so I don’t have to see snow anymore on the ground!

Friday – 20 Min Power Series  (bodyweight) + 40 Min Walk

This quick power series just became one of my favorites! I’m so glad I chose it for today, even though I had a slightly guilty feeling about not wanting to run. I just have to do what I feel like doing — and today’s workout combo was exactly that.

Saturday – 54 Min Full Body (1 lb weights + resistance band)

It was a rain, sleet, and snow kind of day so this longer workout from Melissa Wood Health was perfect.

Sunday – 40 Min Pilates (bodyweight)

I would have run today if it wasn’t a real feel of 15 degrees with a blustery wind. Although, if I really wanted to run, I would have run on the treadmill.
