Plant Wise Meals + Plus Other Recent Eats

I have a nice round-up of recent meals to share including a few from Plant Wise.

I read this week that Plant Wise will now be open on Saturdays instead of only during the week – I’m super excited about this! There are many more items from the menu that I would like to try so having Saturdays as an option to do that is just perfect.

So this is the Plant Wise raw bowl which is a bunch of raw vegetables with either guacamole or hummus. I chose the guacamole and also added the mashed chickpeas (they call it “veggie tuna”).

On another occasion, I tried the spicy green lemonade. It was delicious! The only ingredients are Kale, Spinach, Lemon, Ginger, and Apple.

I enjoyed it while working which was an excellent energy boost.

And finally, I tried Plant Wise’s chili! I got it earlier in the day and saved it for dinner. This is a half and half bowl which includes half of their avocado quinoa salad and half chili bowl.

I will be ordering this again really soon!

I don’t think you can tell how heavy this whole wheat vegetable slice of pizza was from Monte. I say this all the time but will say it again – I’ve never seen another pizza place load a vegetable slice with so many vegetables as they do at Monte.

Note: I often like to order the whole wheat vegetable pizza with an extra side of sauce for dipping.

Here’s my weekly salad from Chopt.

And here’s my basic at-home salad.

  • Romaine
  • Tomatoes
  • Chickpeas
  • Feta
  • Onion
  • Cucumbers
  • Avocado

I actually forget which dressing I used on this particular day!

My son said he would go out for dinner with me and when I suggested several other restaurants, he still chose The Cheesecake Factory.

Last but not least for today, I made this simple bowl of chickpea pasta with roasted broccoli, Trader Joe’s Vegan Bolognese Sauce, and parmesan cheese for dinner.

I was really hungry and this really hit the spot.
