Edible Arrangements + Recent Meals + English Muffin Pizza

So backing up a bit to last week, my pizza superstition did nothing to help the Islanders win their playoff series against Tampa Bay.

It’s okay, I’m not upset. In fact, I may be the only Islanders fan not terribly upset. You see, I’m so used to them not doing well over the years that the thought of the team making it to the Stanley Cup Finals seemed like such a far-off dream that it wasn’t even believable enough to me anyway.

I wasn’t kidding though about the superstition I had quickly created for myself. While I didn’t get a picture of the food we ordered from La Piazza to eat after we all rushed out of my son’s graduation last Friday night to watch the game, here’s the large bag for proof it happened.

This Edible Arrangements graduation platter was gone in a flash. Chocolate-covered fruit is the best. The “2021” you see in the platter is actually chocolate-covered pineapple. IT WAS SO GOOD. I need to order these arrangements more often for no reason other than wanting to eat delicious chocolate-covered fruit.

I should count how many barbecue ranch salad pictures there are in this blog’s media library. Any guesses? Easily 20. Or 30. Maybe 50. Maybe more.

With no food in my house and no time to go food shopping, I took home this vegan cobb salad from The Cheesecake Factory to eat the next day. This was such a smart decision because the salad was so good and so big.

When I finally made it to Trader Joe’s, I dropped everything I saw in my cart. The only issue as of late – Trader Joe’s is constantly out of organic lettuce. I’m not sure what is going on with that. It’s starting to annoy me.

Chopt salads are still a staple in my week. In fact, I think I will get one today (if I have time to run out) instead of making a salad for lunch.

Somehow I never shared this picture of the hot-cold salad from Mother Kelly’s that I had a couple of weeks ago.

Their garlic knots are still the best.

It’s a shame I missed taking a picture of my English muffin pizzas from dinner last night.

Here’s a flashback photo of an English muffin pizza from a few years ago which was part of this What I Ate Wednesday post.
