Oh, hi. Should we talk quickly about my day yesterday? About how I SPILLED MY CUP OF TEA ACROSS MY MACBOOK’S KEYBOARD?
Uh huh. I can’t even believe I did that and at the same time, accidents happen right? It could always be so much worse which is what I reminded myself as I scrambled out the door to Apple to get my laptop fixed.
When your career revolves around your laptop and you work from home, spilling tea on your computer is not an ideal situation! I spilled the tea early which basically ruined my whole work day at a really inopportune time in the week. But what could I really do about it? Getting upset wasn’t going to help.
Long story short, Apple is able to send it out for repair and I should have my laptop back and all fixed by Tuesday the latest.
And also luckily, my son has a Macbook as well. For a small daily fee (don’t ask), he set me up as a user on his laptop until my laptop is back in the house. By now you had to know my son would somehow work this to his advantage.
Whatever, if agreeing to a small daily fee early on in our discussion is what got me back up and running on another Apple, so be it. I just pray he doesn’t use the money to order pizza while I’m cooking dinner. We know he has been known to do that.
Anyway! I had started a Friday Favorites post for today and although it’s not as complete as I would have liked it, I wanted to share it today regardless.
Bloomingdales Frozen Yogurt
Even though I’m a huge fan of Red Mango, Bloomingdales frozen yogurt is still a long time favorite of mine. I enjoyed this frozen yogurt after the Dior event on Saturday while walking around the store. And, I always appreciate how Forty Carrots (that’s the name of the Bloomingdales restaurant) packs the toppings in mostly at the bottom of the cup so you always have a bite of topping with your yogurt. 🙂
Nars Liquid Blush
I’ve mentioned this Nars Liquid Blush (in Orgasm) in the past but it’s worth mentioning again because I love it! It’s not easy to find (stores are always sold out) but when you can get your hands on it, do it.

Smoothing Eye Masks
If you are looking for an easy to use and effective eye mask, I bought these Shiseido Benefiance WrinkleResist24 Pure Retinol Express Smoothing Eye Masks recently and have applied them a few times.
They come in a pack of single-use eye masks but I figured out a way to use one side one time, put them back in the tray and then use the other side the next time. While I don’t have lines/wrinkles around my eyes, I think these eye masks are an important preventative tool as well as necessary for reducing puffiness and helping the eye area to appear more awake.
These eye masks can be used for the lines around the mouth too but I haven’t tried it yet!
Churros
I think that I always liked churros but never chose them as my first dessert choice because chocolate cake and cookies always came first. However, I need to give churros more space in my heart because they can be so delicious!

Two summers ago Reagan spilled a bottle of water across my keyboard….the computer was a goner!!
Expensive accident–but she felt horrible so I had to make it seem like it wasn’t the end of the world..lol
I used my kids chrome books for the summer…then bit the bullet and got another mac.

Oh no! I would be so upset if I did that, especially because during the week I wouldnt be able to go to Apple. I have a separate laptop for work but I try to keep all my work and personal stuff separate. Luckily if something happens to my work computer they have loaners available while they get fixed.
I know I shouldn’t but I am totally laughing about your son charging you a small fee. Hopefully you’re back up and running quickly.
