I realize it’s only March 3rd but you already know how excited I get for being this close to spring.
Even if it is going to snow again today, rain crazy tomorrow and then snow again by Thursday morning. Let’s not talk about that.
I am gearing up (ha, no pun intended) to put together my warm weather workout essentials post, hoping it is loaded with lots of new things for us to choose from!
We still have some time, I get it, but I couldn’t help myself from beginning some sort of spring search a bit early.
The stores and brands are starting to release their warm weather goodies so here’s a sneak peak at spring for us, mixing workout gear with other must-haves too.
Dior Lip Glow:
I have mentioned the Dior Lip Glow several times but they came out with a new shade of this tinted lip balm (with spf).
Sheer Pink Coral!
Lip Glow brings out the natural pigment in your lips but it also has a sheer tint, and this time, it’s on the peachier side rather than pink.
I tried it in the store and the color it created when reacting with my lips was really pretty!
Essie Spring Colors:
I get really excited about picking out my nail polish each week. Almost too excited. As if the color and the corresponding name given to the color will make or break my week like my selection determines my fate.
Strange, I know. But it’s the truth.
I like a purply shade sometimes on my toes and this new color (Flowerista) looks like it will be fun!
The nail salons are way slow in receiving the new colors (at least the ones I go to) but I bet we can expect to start to see the new collection of polishes in stores.
Nike Comfort Flip Flops:
Each spring season I treat myself to a new pair of these comfy cushioned flip flops.
Have you tried them yet? Once you do, you won’t go back to your basic flat flop.
I usually find them in Nordstrom but have also ordered a few pairs from Zappos.
Lululemon Tops:
Over the last few seasons, I decided Lululemon, overall, is my favorite workout apparel line, especially for tops.
I like to save money but I also like my gear to be durable and fit well. I find that trying to spend less don’t always work because I am not as satisfied, the material doesn’t hold up and the fit isn’t the way I really want so then I just go out and buy something new which ends up costing me more than if I bought I what I really wanted in the first place.
I haven’t tried this Mesh With Me tank just yet but I have read good reviews and think I will like it.
It has a built in bra which I love (Lululemon built-in bras are always good for me) and mesh panels for heat release (mesh seems to be the trend this season).
I really like the Run Swiftly collection (both long and short sleeve) and love that the spring colors are now available!
Truth be told, I will wait to see which colors go on sale but I am hoping to see this shade of pink on the sale rack.
Each week now I know that more and more cute and functional warm weather essentials will be hitting the stores so I will stay on top of it for us!
Last year’s essentials list is still worth checking out too. Here is the link in case you missed it.

What are your favorite Essie colors or do you prefer OPI?
Have you started looking at/buying new workout clothes for spring? What do you need the most?
I love that nail polish color! Do you know how much more expensive it is to get your nails done in Maryland? My mom, sister and I complain about this constantly. Like $15 for a mani and $30+ for a pedicure. I remember it being $20 for BOTH on Long Island. I think that is the one thing that is cheaper in NY than anywhere else:)
$15 for a manicure? Yikes. Yes, out here they are super cheap since there is a place on every corner! $10 is high to me! I pay for a good pedicure but even for that, $30 and higher is considered pricey. It truly is the only thing in NY that may be cheaper than anywhere else!
I love this post and that you’re bringing spring in! I need it! I’ve been meaning to try the Dior Glow but haven’t yet. So that might have to be my spring purchase. I also love lululemon for my workout clothes. It just fits so perfectly! Here’s to spring coming early!
I always loved the Dior Addict Lip Glow. It really makes a pretty color without too much color and is really hydrating.
That Lulu top–I needs it. Well I need it like I need another workout top but shhhhhh
Haha I so get it!
Ohh that lip tint sounds perfect! Right now I’m loving the tinted lip balm from Burt’s Bees. It gives me lots of color but still keeps my lips hydrated! I’m a chapstick junky 🙂
I have one of those Burt’s Bees tinted lip balms too and really like it!
I love Essie and OPI, but tend to go with the latter because of the names. I think one of my dream jobs is just to name polish colors for OPI…they’re so creative!
I really like that first Lulu top, too…looks super comfy. Great list!
I know, right? I love the names too, so creative and must be fun to have that job.
Love this post! I was doing some online browsing last night and really looking forward to spring. You might have sold me on the flip flops, I’m always looking for good ones I can actually walk in. Also I’m a huge fan of the swiftly line and that short sleeve one is very similar to the one I’m wearing in my blog picture! I love pink in the spring. Okay actually year round 🙂
I have a few pairs of the Nike flip flops and they are really comfortable because of the added cushion. Makes a huge difference.
I am sooooo soooo soooooo excited for Spring! Ugh! Can’t wait girl! Loving all the Springy nail polishes…
We are one in the same – Lulu is my favorite too. I know it is expensive and a lot of people look down on it because it is so expensive and think it isn’t really functional for intense workouts but I have to disagree. I love love love the Run Swiftly tees. My grandma rocks them too. Actually the picture of my grandma on my post today – she has the Run Swiftly top on in a bordeaux.
I love that your grandmother likes the Run Swiftly too! I really like them – I started with just the long sleeve but then started buying the short sleeve too. I owe you an email, I have been having a crazy crazy week so far.
Love the back on that Lulu top! I love Essie. This winter my favorite was “Mind your Mittens”!

I liked the back too. I have to try it on!
I love Essie nail polish… although I feel like OPI stays on my nails longer 🙂 I am sooooo ready for spring this snow is never ending!
I know! It’s snowing here right now. It’s enough…I like OPI too but usually see a wider collection of Essie to choose from at my nail salons.
