I had my two most favorite foods in the world yesterday which means I could leave Disney World right now and be happy.
The first thing we did when we arrived inside Magic Kingdom was head to the candy store on Main Street.
I picked the Minnie Mouse chocolate-covered apple and the ears were big chocolate-covered marshmallows.
And the last thing we did before leaving Magic Kingdom after dinner was stop at the Ice Cream Parlor.
Oh those fresh and giant chocolate chip cookies with ice cream in between—As good as I remembered.
Anyway, I have been wanting to recap some of my favorite running and fitness posts of 2014 so I finally put some links together below.
Earlier this year I started up a series I frequently come back to on running topics discussed through my experiences versus just preaching lots of info.
How To Start Running – My approach to running and how I got started.
Physical Fitness Tests and Building Up To Running – My feelings about kids and those silly physical fitness tests.
How To Become A Morning Runner – This one still makes me laugh but has a lot of valuable lessons in it.
How Pregnancy And Motherhood Affect Your Running Routine – One of most favorite posts about how I DIDN’T focus on exercise when my son was born and didn’t get back to normal until he was in preschool.
It was even featured on BlogHer which made me really proud.
Waiting For Monday – Why wait for Monday or the New Year?
How I Think I Run Injury Free – Totally taboo topic for me but I am able to run injury free and sometimes I think I know why.
Why I Signed Up For Pure Barre – One of the best decisions I made this year.
Pure Barre From Home – Can’t say enough about my love for the lift, tone and burn.
Favorite Race Recaps:
The half I didn’t finish – Taught me a real lesson in knowing my body and realizing my deal breakers.
Runner’s World Half & Festival – I still think about running these three races back to back. Such an awesome experience!
I have lots of other posts, race recaps and workout ideas on my Running page — be sure to check it out!
It’s pretty warm today so we are going to head down for breakfast soon and will then spend some time by the pool (and lazy river!) before going to Epcot later today (dinner reservations in Japan!).
I will talk to you tomorrow!

Favorite Disney World (or Disney Land) treat?
Did you finish your Christmas Shopping?
Which race that you ran in 2014 stands out most in your mind?
As if I didn’t already want to visit Disney World… now after seeing those treats I’d love to be there tomorrow! YUM 🙂
The food here is so good! Always is!
Lots of good stuff here I plan to check out! Glad you’re getting your favorite treats 🙂
I always love the food here, especially my desserts!
All the treats at Disney are incredible! There’s no way I could choose just one. The drinks at Epcot are pretty amazing too for adults.
I love the chocolate covered rice krispie treats from Disney! I have never been to Disney World, but Disneyland is pretty close to my house. If only it wasn’t so darn expensive!
