My prayers were answered.
In two separate deliveries!
Chocolate covered fruit galore. A full separate box of chocolate covered apples, strawberries and bananas.
I love birthdays. I love the wonderful people in my life. And I love fruit. Chocolate dipped. Or not.
And the fact that I don’t need to buy my weekly supply of fruit for a while.
In addition to stuffing myself with at least triple the “five a day” recommendation, I observed National Running Day by running 10 miles in the morning.
Followed by a completely relaxing manicure and pedicure.
I think I chose Bottle Service for my toes. Or maybe not.
Confession: I can’t read the tiny print without my glasses…It is the old age I guess. The thirty-five.
Another award-winning Red Mango Parfait created by moi.
Yes, the girl behind the counter was laughing at me for taking a picture. She is just jealous that she doesn’t have the parfait making skills that I do.
Is that a view or what?
Dinner was at one of my favorite restaurants, Prime.
The weather was absolutely perfect for dining outside.
As usual, I get wrapped up in my meal and conversation and forget to take the dinner photos. Oops.
We went with almost all of the sushi rolls listed above. It is all about the Tornado Roll folks. Wrapped in fried potato? Can’t replicate this one. No other restaurant even tries.
And if I didn’t get enough of my chocolate and fruit, we capped the night off with fondue.
I never forget to photograph dessert. Of course not, most important meal of the day.
No birthday is complete without a homemade card from the kid. Can you read what it says?
I think this card is great because he doesn’t consider me old just yet. I have five more years.
I think this is my new favorite song. Need to add to my playlist. ASAP.
Did you run for National Running Day? If so, how did it go?
Did anyone sign up for any races using the holiday discounts that were out there?
What is your favorite fruit? Do you like it chocolate dipped?
Thank you all for the birthday wishes yesterday!
