Fitness Magazine Meet and Tweet Today!

I just wanted to pop in for a quick hello –  I am heading out the door to get myself into the city to attend the Fitness Magazine Meet and Tweet!

The event is being held at one of Manhattan’s newest, largest and trendiest gyms, The Mercedes Club.

I am super excited!

I will be sure to take a ton of pics and give a full recap tomorrow.

In the meantime, can we discuss the below picture?

Who leaves over a tiny piece of an English muffin?

Especially when that English muffin is topped with a mix of Peanut Butter & Co. Crunch Time AND Mighty Maple?

They say kids have a natural appetite shut off switch; children intuitively stop eating when full unlike adults who continue to chow down way past the point of being satisfied.

I am pretty good at knowing when I am full, however, when peanut butter is involved, there is NO WAY you will find a drop left on my plate

Confession: I may lick my plate clean after eating any meal that has involved peanut butter.

I need to know:

Are you part of the clean plate club?

Do you often have leftovers to take home from restaurants?

Would you EVER pass up the last bite of an English muffin topped with peanut butter?

  1. I couldn’t leave it behind either! I also have a problem with finishing leftovers…getting the last of the leftovers out of the fridge gives me a sense of accomplishment. I’m not so sure this is a good thing…

  2. Haha I’m with you on the peanut butter. It’s too good to stop eating right when I’m full! Why do gets get blessed with being able to so easily quit eating once full? Is it because we get bored as we get older and look forward to food? Eek! Have fun at the Fitness Magazine party! Sounds awesome and can’t wait to hear about it!

  3. Haha, I used to not be allowed to leave the dinner table til I ate everything on my plate when I was a kid. Nowadays, I have the outlook of – leave or eat it – doesn’t realllllly matter. ha! Though, peanut butter will never be left behind on my plates either! Have fun at the event today!

  4. Have fun at the event!! Can’t wait to read about it!
If I cook, I usually eat everything because I make the right amount, but if I’m eating out, I almost ALWAYS have left overs!
