I couldn’t wait to open my Bestowed box and see what was inside! It was neatly packed with an assortment of goodies. I really like that the box comes with an info sheet that describes each product with recipe/serving ideas for each item as well as info on how to buy more.
In the mix:
- Good Eating Salads Recipe Book
- Larabar uber Apple Turnover
- TeeChia Super Seeds Cereal
- Dark Chocolate Sun Cups
- Navitas Coconut Water Powder
- Simply Sprouted Sweet Chili Tortilla Chips
- California Olive Ranch Everyday EVOO
I had never tried any of the products which made this even more exciting!
I have been meaning to try Coconut water in my latest quest to quench my extreme thirst. This packet contains freeze-dried coconut water which can be easily added to 8 oz. of water.
I couldn’t wait to test it out after my long run this past weekend. I didn’t notice a taste to my water and but I did notice that I wasn’t as thirsty as I normally am the rest of the day.
Perhaps it was the mix of the electrolytes and potassium? Quite possible.
I opened the bag of the super seeds cereal and totally loved the smell. I already had my steel cut oatmeal with blueberries waiting for me but the aroma from this bag was way too tempting not to eat.
Since I totally couldn’t wait another day to make this cereal for my breakfast, I mixed some of the super seeds cereal in with my oats.
Delicious! Like blueberry pie.
The cereal is a blend of all gluten-free/organic rolled oats, quinoa seeds, milled chia seeds, milled flax, amaranth seeds, pumpkin seeds, raw ramen seeds, dates,Zante currents, dried blueberries and freeze dried blueberries.
Talk about a powerhouse of a cereal.
Please take note of the lack of added sugars. You would never know it from the taste and smell of the cereal. I never buy flavored oatmeal or yogurt- I prefer to add sweetness using fresh/frozen fruit rather than through added sugars.
I played around with this delicious cereal on more than one occasion at breakfast and lunch. I added it to various bowls of oatmeal (as seen in above picture) and also mixed it with plain greek yogurt to create one of my homemade parfaits. I also sprinkled some of the cereal on top.
Next up for this blueberry pie of a super seeds cereal is to use it in pancakes as well as baking. I feel a blueberry super seed banana bread on my horizon.
I love a good recipe book. Sometimes it is nice to be old fashioned and read through an actual book instead of googling for recipes or browsing pinterest.
I read through the recipe book while having a snack (surprise surprise, apple with peanut butter – a Fuji apple actually).
I love the recipe selections and can’t wait to test some of them out. It is the perfect book of recipes to have on hand and will be quite useful this summer for easy meals as well as dishes to bring to barbeques and parties.
I am not really a chip eater but the little boy sure is!
He LOVED these chips. He said they tasted just like Doritos – only better.
I am surprised he remembers what a Dorito tastes like since Trader Joe’s doesn’t carry them.
I gave him the chips as a snack in his lunchbox yesterday.
I mixed the Way Better Chips with lentil curls from Trader Joe’s.
While I am glad he liked these chips, they are still chips and have a decent amount of fat and calories. They may be made from better ingredients than the cheese ball or actual Doritos but I still watch the chip intake and chose to mix the bag to fill him up and keep the calorie count down at the same time.
I plan to use the olive oil tonight when I roast vegetables with dinner.
Somehow we have yet to try the Sunflower Butter Dark Chocolate Sun Cups but perhaps it will be dessert this evening. I like that they are nut free making them safe to be brought around kids that have nut allergies.
The Larabar is already in my bag as my emergency snack.
Overall, I loved this little party in a box. I think it is a great concept and an awesome way to try out healthy products.
I am already making a list of people that I need gifts for as I think Bestowed boxes would make for a unique and fun present.

I think my favorite thing to win Would be the salads recipe book. I, like you, enjoy looking at a hard copy book 🙂
this recipe book is awesome. so many great ideas and I love having it at my fingertips.
Being a dark chocolate lover, I would have to go with the Dark Chocolate Sun Cups. Maybe a healthier way to cure chocolate cravings? 🙂
agreed.
I am seriously considering joining- I keep seeing these on blogs and they look so awesome! I’m actually a huge chip lover, so i would love to try the chips 🙂
I love getting presents in the mail too, especially when they’re dropped at my door like yours! 🙂 That cereal sounds really good and versatile – you used it for so many things and I am sure it made it so yummy! I’m not sure how I feel about the coconut water but if you say you couldn’t taste much of a difference, I’m sure it’s worth a try. 🙂 That’s a really cool box and I love that it promotes healthy and natural foods. Haha to your son referencing Doritos and your retort! You are the best.
Thank you lol – I really don’t know the last time he ate an actual Dorito. I always loved a good Dorito back in the day.
What a fun box of tasty and healthy treats. A great way to try new products you wouldn’t necessarily buy on your own. Plus something good to look forward to in the mail every month other then bills. I haven’t tried chia seeds yet, though I have been curious. I will look for this cereal next time I am in the store.
Oh wow your box was full of delicious foods! I’d want to try those chips and the larabar! I loved my Bestowed Box that I recently received. 🙂
Hey there!! The salad recipe book for sure! Always looking for different recipes to try out 🙂 Love the blog BTW!!!
Thank you!
That cereal looks amazing. Definitely going to look into a monthly membership!!! Thanks for sharing your reviews!
Well it would be a toss up between the sunflower butter cups (dellish) and the sald recipe book. I could get LOTS of ideas from the book and the chocolate cups would be devoured in half a second!
I want to try the way better snacks!
I want to try the Sunflower Butter Dark Chocolate Sun Cups
that bar looks super yummy!
I am all about the Sun Cups. Chocolate all the way.
My favorite item for your box is the salad recipe book! What a great idea to include one. I haven’t seen a cookbook included in a food box before but I’d love to see more of em!
Sun cups!
Oh goodness, sign me up for Sunflower Butter Dark Chocolate Sun Cups
